Big blow for us, but I reckon Carrigan is ready to go to another level.
You have a point, TPJ and Lodge are similar in regards to those things I mentioned but I just feel TPJ can do a better job at prop if he gets his mind right.
Still, I feel for Lodge as he does give it his best for us and I like that. Very unlucky.
Apparently his only hope is if he suffered a rare partial tear which could be a 2-3 month recovery period.
ffs. at least we get to see Carrigan with big minutes but that’s a huge blow, we‘re short on tough, consistent players like lodge already.
The concern I would have now is that we are very skinny in the second row.We will manage. Have plenty of depth capable of covering. Carrigan to Lock and TJP/Offa to rotate at Prop.
Paix now doesnt have a spot on the bench, we will need a utility in there for the backs.
Go Matt!I am confident I can get back on the field in 2020.”

It's literally just Fifi and Glenn, given TPJ was the cover.
He isn't a lock's arsehole though, he was completely ineffective there. He can work on his game from the bench until he shows why we re-signed him in the first place.Ofa will play more than 30 minutes a game. He is a SOO forward ffs
Carrigan is much more suited to lock, he shares similar traits with Cam Murray. Would be a total waste at prop imo. Here is one for you ... that sporting news website is predicting that Patty Carrigan will replace Lodge as starting prop
Wolfie you're his biggest fan .... worth a shot?
they are also predicting Boyd on the wing which seems unlikely
