That's pretty harsh, if you don't want him in the halves, just play him as a bench hooker while he's under contract.

Tom Dearden looks like a good prospect but he is a bit young.

Still not sure on Sean O’Sullivan.

The issue with signing someone on more than a 1 year contract is it could prompt the young players to move on. That could mean losing a potential star in Dearden for someone somewhat average.

Going after a solid, experienced player like Blake Green could be a good option. Have him in a mentoring role for a year, and you get a solid game manager and kicker.

There was no mention of Roberts leaving in the post. It was about Niko to the Warriors.

I hope and have to believe we won't lose both, as that would bring us to a dangerously thin backline depth.

Of course we could be really bold and go:

1- Milford/Bird
2- Oates
3- Boyd (his best position in terms of physical demands for the remaining years of his contract IMO)
4- Staggs
5- Isaako (please shake off the 2nd year syndrome)
6- Bird/Milford
7- Dearden

I can't see the above happening, but wouldn't mind trying it to see where it leads...

Yeah we loose pace and experience. I know we need half to complement milf but it seems a strange time to consider it.
