Long Term Lock

glenn looked on fire at lock last week early it was amazing. involved in everything and really helped lift the team seeing his work rate.

our left centre is a bloody turnstile though. while we have spare backrowers fighting to get a start each week who are better defenders than the nubs we keep slotting into left centre we should find a place for all of them.

i dont like thinking that glenn or te'o get pigeon holed into becoming a left centre but when we stop leaking points we can get onto fine tuning our attack.

both have excelled at centre this year as far as im concerned. we have folau who when he is on the right hand side is ok. we need to solidify the left. I think glenn or Te'o can do the job for us this year with a view to maybe sharing a backrow spot role and left centre role and having both playing 80 mins.

this sounds good in my head but probably shot down in flames.

Not much of a difference in a lock or second rower anymore.. We probably have too many quality backrowers at the club. Gillett and Glenn are bother superb and play totally different. I'd say Gillett will be in the 2nd row and Glenn be off the bench until a regular spot opens up. Te'o better lift his game IMO and Setu can pack his bags we don't have enough spots to keep all the backrowers.

Glenn is absolutely perfect for a Utility player.

I'll be very disappointed if the Broncos continue to use Glenn as a utility over the next few seasons. Complete waste of talent IMO.

Totally agree.

I prefer Gillett at lock. He's our next Carroll. I have always felt Parker is not a lock. Back rower yes. Lock no. Gillett has more speed, especially off the mark, better footwork and good ball skills. He's great running close to the scrum. Apart from which, we have back rowers aplenty.

Glenn should be one of our 2 first choice centres, especially when Folau exits - apart from which I still reckon Folau is a winger and not a centre, and maybe later, a back rower.

In any case, they could still rotate when necessary, and the team would not lose anything.

+1. For now it's handy, but in the future he will be a player who MUST start.

I definitely agree that Glenn should be allowed to cement a starting position in the not too distant future... he looks to be a good long term captaincy option... probably a little less angry then McCullough...

If Folau is still with us.

Folau stopped being with us the moment he contemplated dash for cash.
