THE BOSS Maguire Stomped The Naysayers! But...8 Months Later, Here We Are.

If the players follow in the leadership and guidance that McGuire has in his arsenal. Then McGuire could be the Brisbane Broncos new personal Bellamy.

I wasn't happy about Kevvie being sacked but it's happened and I'm fine to move on, I'm a broncos fan first and at this stage on board with Madge to get us the next prem, we have a damn good squad, soo long as Reyno doesn't miss the key parts of the season we are atleast a top 4 team for 25, it might be our last for a few seasons where we are in a premiership window though.

I dearly hope that's bait, Sproj. Sacking a first year coach after Round 7 would certainly be on brand for a club all out of ideas and ready to collapse.

Cant judge Maguire until he culls some players and signs new ones.

As it stands he's inherited someone else's shitshow. Starters aren't much chop and depth is poor in all positions.
Agree. He also honoured the Barrett and Teo appointments. Need to see what he does at the end of the year, this year feels like a rebuild and extended trial for some players

what we need to to is just get a long list of coaching candidates, and treat them like one of those late night radio quiz segments ... i.e. they get to coach until we lose ... as soon as we lose, they're out and the next coach in line gets his turn until we lose again, then he's out.

rinse and repeat.

Things we (I’ve) learned this season.

- We miss Mam more than I predicted
- Adding Hunt actually has done little for our composure or game awareness
- Billy has outplayed Paix the last 2 weeks.
- Hetherington at lock, Patty to prop doesn’t work
- Shiba is actually a pretty great centre
- Staggs isn’t going to another level under Madge
- We don’t seem any fitter
- The dumb plays and errors haven’t disappeared over 1 off season
- Walsh…I dunno
