Like i said though, its that balance. If you overtrain them, you get injuries and they gas out in games. If you take it too easy on them, they slack off and we get the implosions we have seen too much in recent times.

As much as i dont like Madge, he needs to be given the time to see if he can sweep the blokes out of the door who dont put in like they should. I think its going to probably take him the whole year to implement what he needs to and then see how we go next year.

We'll see. Size will matter in finals when the refs put the whistle away and Burton is constantly under pressure and not kicking so easily. They also have two plays and teams will work it out:
1. Turn a runner ack on the inside
2. Have players spread from behind the playmaker

Other teams are already starting to do these plays themselves, even us when we feel like it.

I mean, I don't think that's much of a shock. Young team who had been labelled rockstars and shit, and who last year clearly believed they were elite, not so sure that's something completely unexpected to discover. Maybe that's just me. Not to mention the other off field shit all seemed to be caused from alcohol.. Pat/Reyno, Paynes shoes etc.
