That's 1 season out of the past 8 you can call a "success" (but was it? Really?), the rest has been dog water. We've been through plenty of coaches in that time, the only constants have been the players and the culture.

By the time this latest rebuild is done (and trust me, it IS a rebuild), it will have been another decade of shit with sprinkles of disappointment from the biggest club in Rugby League. And this is me being kind and leaving out the Henjak/Griffin years.

Yeah well this year is basically just more of last year, same shit on the field, which shouldn't be a surprise considering its the same group of players.

We need some fresh blood, let Cobbo go, move on from Reynolds, clear out most of the hookers and back row and search bloody hard for some talent.

I’ve had growing concerns over Adam’s leadership.

Even with that aside, something I keep noticing is that when we are behind the posts after the opposition’s scored, no one is talking. They all stand silently and watch the opponent kick the goal.

Also, anytime we score, obviously Reyno is busy kicking instead of talking to the boys, reminding them of the game plan.

If there is anyone at the club with Captain potential, I think they should be made co captain asap. Hopefully Haas or Patty.

Literally the only successful years were under Bennett... and even then we only made one prelim outside of the 2015 Grand Final... and in that prelim storm ****ing annihilated us 30-0.

So since Lockyer retired we've choked in 2 Grand Finals and made 1 prelim outside of those years.

It is what it is. Ezra, Walsh, Haas, Carrigan are all top level players and are all young with many years of football ahead. These players will become our experienced leaders in a few years time. Big priority right now is securing those guys contracts and focusing on Coby black or another halfback for the future and stick with it for years. The teams not nearly as ****ed as we are making it out to be, it only requires time and a few smart signings and younger players coming through and it's a top side.

Didn’t see today’s game as was out car shopping but sounds like it was more of the same. So sad that I didn’t mind I was missing it without even knowing the result.

I’m ok with Madge departing at seasons end if we finish bottom 4 but only if he takes some players with him, preferably named Riki, Baker, Cobbo, Mariner, Paix, Staggs, Piakura and JetSki/JHunt.

I’m also ok giving Madge next year to see what he can do with the above names gone.

The people that are actually on board with flicking him, I have some questions.

Do you think that he tells the players to run wide towards the sideline, taking the 0.1% play over safety and support inside?

Do you think he is telling the players to not run up in support?

Do you think he is telling the players to carry the ball loose in yardage?

Do you think he is telling the players to not try anything different, just keep losing every single infringement count and be ill disciplined?

Do you think he tells them to go out there and do the bare bone fundamentals of rugby league incorrectly time and time again? I'm talking backrowers rushing a ball player leaving huge gaps, A and B defender chasing a ball carrier the same side the marker went, so that an unders ball is a certain line break every time?

Do you think it's intentionally coached that we are the most unfit team in the comp?

Do you think he trains our attack to bunch up, with no depth, get in each other's way and run 1 outs over and over and over?

The only thing you've got is that he is sticking by some of these deadshits too much, probably because he sees the deadshits underneath at training aren't any better.

I'll give you poor selection choices and bench usage, think that is a legit criticism.

If you answered yes to any of those, I truly don't know what you are watching, because it's not our games.

We need to stop sticking by these players, who have given us nothing but pain.

How many coaches do we need to go through before finally it's the players? Kev had us within minutes of topping off a wonderful year with a title, and how'd they repay him? The very next year they went to shit and knifed him in the back. Thanks for coming. They're trying the same shit now, because Madge actually knows how much work they need to do before we are any chance of actually competing again and they don't like it.

Unless you're sacking Madge and then also letting a rookie coach (that's all that's out there) burn the place down and start again, all you're doing is kicking the problem down the road. Why don't we actually for once hold the blokes that run on the field, accountable?

It was interesting to hear in the last presser when asked if the team were following his instructions on the field that Madge answered a hard yes.
