We shouldn't stress over things like this. We will replace him and move on.We're going to lose Ballin aren't we
It will create a situation where Madge gets to pick his guy... and that will be very interesting. We shouldn't stress over things like this. We will replace him and move on.
A bit of that on both sides imo .. At the time Seibold was being mentioned as the likely hire at Manly, the state that club was in post the Des sacking & the jersey scandal, old boys noise etc - I couldn’t believe Seibold was actually considering walking into such a similar hornets nest as the one he’d previously been in at Brisbane.. But like a moth to a flame…If only there was some kind of metric the eagles could have looked at before hiring him to see if he was a good coach or not….

I still feel like he has something to offer in some role or capacity in the NRL .. he’s an intelligent guy in many respects.. maybe a bit too intelligent for his own good when it comes to being a head coach
I genuinely believe that a lot of ppl on this forum could coach better than seibs. The bloke is the biggest coaching fraud the game has ever seen. Manly still have the worst pack in the comp, but Foran will at least have them playing with passion and getting the ball in Toms hands and out of Brooks’.Makes me wonder if Manly paid the media to do a blitz on Madge and the Broncos to take away attention from this cluster **** of a club. I feel sorry for Foran, Don't think he knows what he is getting himself into.
Haha I noticed this last night too.

Despite how it’s all turned out for him, he did get the nod for head coaching roles at three of the biggest clubs in the NRL and an assistant gig with England Rugby Union.. You’ve got to have something in your kit bag to get that far ..Because he spent a weekend at Harvard? His problem is that he ISN'T anywhere near as smart as he thinks he is. Did not learn any lessons from his failure with us at all.

As we all know though, being intelligent is one thing, but knowing how to apply that is another thing entirely - and clearly Seibold hasn’t figured out the right mix between ‘knowing a lot of stuff’ about the X’s and O’s and being able to tailor that and have it resonate with a group of 30 footballers of varying ages and backgrounds etc etc etc ..
You’re right, he obviously hasn’t learned the human management lessons from his Broncos disaster and he just doesn’t appear to be cut out to be a head coach.. But I reckon there’s some role somewhere within Rugby League that he could be OK at
