He is young and has a decent future, Gorrell is in the latter half of his career and is unlikely to get better than his mediocre level.

Casey Macguire came to the Broncs as a supposed failure, toward the tail end of his career. Look what happened there. No reason why Gorrell can't do the same. He'll be playing with some pretty gun halves for a change ... I think when he was at St George he probably worked with ... well I can't even remember so they probably were a pimple on the butt of Darren Lockyer, Peter Wallace and Hunt.

Gorrell was pretty good for the Queens before the salary cap squeezed him out. Clint Greenshields (?, the fullback) and Gorrell were awesome for the Queens and it was disappointing to see them go to ESL.

I have agreed with you pretty much Mikey, and yesterday the proof was in the pudding. I just cannot understand why he was not brought back on in the second half when the attack was struggling. Was he injured? If that was a deliberate tactic by Ivan then it shows a lack of judgment imo. If he persists with Michaels after yesterday it will be further confirmation that he is lacking judgment on the selection front.

Maybe we should have kept Boyd instead of Michaels???
