It isn't a totally crazy idea you know. One of Lodge/TPJ/Joffa/Moose will need to start on the bench. If Bird is indeed playing lock next year (hopefully not), that is another one to throw into the mix.

All of those guys (bar Bird in an unproven role) are all good enough to start. Having Moose coming off the bench is not the worst idea (may not be the best either but it does have some merit) going around.

It's Moose. An Australian and QLD representative in his prime years of footy. None of those guys should be starting if it means putting someone of his caliber on the bench.

Unless McGuire back to prop is a realistic chance, which it should be, then both Lodge and Offa will have to start, despite how well their switch is going atm. I don’t know if we can afford to have Pangai not playing as much as he can (not keen on burning him out playing prop either).
