Just goes to show that many people on this forum over-rate speed out of dummy half, it doesn't make the be-all-and-end-all of a NRL quality hooker. Yes, you can over-run QCup defences and show brilliance for 10-15 minutes a half in NRL, but it doesn't always make you a solid first grade hooker. Look at the likes of Baptise, Parcell, Segeyaro etc. I understand they all may have had their issues at the clubs they went to, but honestly if they were as good as the people on this forum rated them they all should be displacing Cameron Smith as the Australian hooker. Even Granville has to share the load with a bench hooker and sometimes is the bench hooker.

And why wouldn't you at that age . Play footy , get payed , then travel in the off season

He isn't enjoying Manly so takes the chance to play in the UK; he's not going because he can't play NRL, he has a contact at Manly and has done the off-season. He would have been the first grade hooker.

If he was really not enjoying Manly could he have not just requested a release to join another NRL club?.. I find it pretty odd that his first choice option was to head to England, surely there's 2-3 clubs who could've used him in the NRL.

I never understood Barrett's approach with Parcell.

Koroisau had an awful understanding of DCE's game, often failing to provide him with efficient service causing the Sea Eagles to rush through their plays and turn the ball over in meek fashion. At least when Parcell was on the field, the Sea Eagles appeared more confident with the football and his kick-chase was a constant source of anxiety for opposition coaches. The only flaw I saw in Parcell's game was his tendency to commit basic errors which has to be expected from a player of his experience.

On the plus side, with Parcell out of the picture, the Sea Eagles public approval will plummet.
