I kind of hope he does do something similar here tbh. Maybe a leadership "group" with dual captains in patty and arey. I know it sounds wild but it's definetly a long term approach. Putting multiple people in a leadership position builds leadership skills in more people. More players will become more self aware and take on more responsitibility to guide the younger ones.

Reynolds, carrigan, haas, hunt and staggs can be the leadership "group". But depending what and how people are behind the 4 walls maybe jensen, arthurs, riki, walsh or some other smokey can be part of it too and grow into a leader, improving their game and the team dynamics.
