andrew gee kicking a 40/20 against newcastle in 2002.... newcastle were coming off the premiership and were considered the team to beat, and the broncos played one of their best games of the decade to come up trumps. in fact i recall us only just getting over the top of bottom-placed penrith the week before that game (our ball control was horrible and nearly gifted the panthers the game) and wayne bennett came out and said we wouldn't win against the knights... took a bit of pressure off the team for the knights game.

I can't remember that one but i do remember Tallis unleashing at Ben Ross when he was at the Panthers and once at a St Helens player during the 1997 SL WCC comp that was held. (which we won in a canter 8-) )

The 2006 GF. I watched this at the Suncorp Piazza. Stupid decision, crap screen and too many weirdos.
That Folau try last year.
Petero getting sent off after giving Bryce Gibbs a lesson. I hated Gibbs before but even more now.

Matt Bowen's intercept try a few years ago off Brett Kimmorley was insane, I'll always remember that.

And slater's amazing try in 2004.

All of my best memories are State of Origin memories come to think of it.

One of my favourite origin moments is Dane Carlaw scoring the try in game 3 2002 in the dying moments to fraw the series. NSW had just scored and it looked like curtains for us, but I couldn't give up hope... deep down I knew the fight wasn't over. 30 seconds or so later Carlaw made the bust through the NSW line and that was that. That memory epitomises what Queenslands spirit is all about.

One of my favourite moments in football will always be in State of Origin Game 1, 2003 - Paul Bowman did his knee in, couldn't even walk, yet he made not 1, but 2 tackles in a row before being carried off the field. That just epitomised what Origin means to the Queenslanders.
