Most Memorable Moments

After reading what some here have said about the atmosphere at the end of the game last night I really wish I had been there.

It got me thinking about the memorable moments at footy games over the years like the can throwing incident, that was nuts, the feeling at the ground was incredible.

My favourite memorable moment was the world cup last year when the Kiwis were finishing the Haka and the Australian side linked arms on the 1om line then started walking forward to eyeball the Kiwis on half way.
The atmosphere was brilliant, I will never forget that.

Anyone else have a stand out memory?

I think he was sin binned which was met with great applause from the Lang Park crowd.

From memory that was against the Tigers during a rain soaked monday night game.

Lockys field goal that hit both goal posts.
Lockys kick ahead for kemp to score in the corner.
When the panthers beat up a few years ago at home.
Mat bowen burning cooper on the outside to go 3/4 of the field to score in an orgin.

Most of mine have been mentioned but I'm gonna put them down again because they are special to me.
- Origin 1 2001. The last game at the old Lang Park. 10 QLD debutants completely towelled up NSW who thought they were going to coast to victory. Webb scored that memorable try at the Milton Road end beating half the NSW team (probably the only decent thing he's done in footy) Without a doubt my favourite footy night.
- Seeing QLD's first Origin series win in 4 years at Docklands in 06'.
- Lockyer sinking the Titans two years ago. (off both goal posts in front of 49,000 fans, just two days after Origin III. That night pretty much underscored why QLD is rugby league heartland).
- Kemp scores his fourth try after the buzzer to beat the Eels off a Lockyer dab
- Last night was just a sensational atmosphere at games end.
- Seeing Talis given a standing ovation at Dairy Farmers Stadium in 2005 after we'd been beaten by North Queensland. They had every right to bask in their first victory over us but the whole stadium was on their feet for the big man. Very special night.
