You need to hope you have the home field against Brady if you meet him in the NFC championship game. Them beating the Bills did you no favor today either. If the Bucs beat the saints next week (and its a very losable game for them as the saints seem to have their measure) its hard to see them not winning their remaining games either. The cards have a few tricky games coming up too which could hand them the 1 seedwould love a packers patriots super bowl tbh, a chance to finally beat the evil empire would be amazing but knowing the pack we're not getting past the nfc championship game
I bet Bellichick already has a locked drawer full of schemes for ARod on the off chance they meet him in the superbowl.would love a packers patriots super bowl tbh, a chance to finally beat the evil empire would be amazing but knowing the pack we're not getting past the nfc championship game
Totally agree with your thoughts here mate. All good, Saints weren't going to do much in the play-offs in any case, I would have thought, although the defense might have scared a few teams (particularly TB if they met again).
Weird year for the Saints, decimated by injury and really lacking an offensive identity while the defence stood up. Kind of an inverse of all those wasted mid-2010s 8-8 seasons with a ridiculous O and embarrassing D.
If they can stay healthy, and find some consistency at QB, they'll do alright next year. Long wait now, though.
