I got 10 of the 20 players I bid for initially just put in bids for 15 more to try and get near to my 25 quota. Got these guys first time around and there is still some quality left.

Barba, Hilder, Isa, Kenny, Monaghan, Simpson, Stagg, G.Stewart, Thurston and R.Williams. Pretty happy with this lot, hate to think how I got outbid for Inglis I bid $450k for him but ecstatic to get Thurston as my main kicker.

This will give me 1 free spot to recruit a 2nd kicker although I will be away when the window opens and there are still heaps of good ones like El Masri, Fitzgibbon, Soward and Inu. My backs are young but if they play I should do well because my pack is crazy good!
 
My official Private Comp team is almost finalised and I'm pretty happy with the way it looks, it's one of the better sides in the comp, even though my bench is a bit meh. Hoping to add a quality 2nd kicker on Tuesday.

I went all forwards on the bench because they are my strength, happy enough with my backline and love the pack I recruited.
 
My private League is done and dusted, this is my first game. I should chalk up a win due to this bloke's lack of wingers....but anything can happen, he's bidding on a couple of wingers currently so if he gets those guys he may have more of a chance. At the moment I'm a clear favourite. That's my team on the left with the nicest halves combination around.

Gee I've had a terrible week. From my top 17 Kenny, Hohaia, Matulino and Poore all injured. On top of this there's Brett Stewart. And I have three roosters so I hope they don't get dropped after today's debarkle. :(
 
47 points in my public comp and I'm still losing. Sucks the big one. Bloody corey parker and his useless kicking.

Winning my private comp though.
