It’s all to do with crowd numbers and marketing. Brisbane, without any marketing, will always do good numbers at Suncorp. Nrl have focussed a lot in Melbourne for a long time now. Meanwhile the Sydney numbers were dying so now they need a glamour club to pump up in Sydney. The nrl doesn’t give a crap about Brisbane anymore, we’re safe.
