NRL 2022 Finals Week 1 Discussion

Tapine is going to be hung, drawn and quartered here by Craig Atkins

Not one of those hat tricks were remotely close to the individual brilliance of his previous two years.

He’s just been a winger in the right spot.

I think we should probably get a clue by now that individual brilliance is not going to win us premierships. Being the right man in the right spot at the right time does.

All those people on here who were talking down Coates are quiet tonight.
Former players who succeed elsewhere are always cut down on here. It's a natural fan instinct. Dearden doesn't get the credit he deserves on here despite his career taking off since he left the state capital. It's never pleasant watching a former winger score a hattrick while your team is witnessing it from their lounge room.

I wonder if melb would be open to taking haas.

What they need is a big pillow to soften them up.

It's an all too common story too.

Dearden - flying at the Cowboys

Coates - Playing well at Melbourne, much better than he did with us

Lodge - Turned the Rorters season right around as soon as they signed him

Hunt - Basically the Dragons best player

Yes there have been the predictable failures as well like Milford, Fifita, Joe O and Roberts, but they hardly play on the mind when their sides are finishing at the bottom.

Nice wrestling technique by the storm to get tangled in the tackle either offensively or defensively.
