Nah it was grubby and a shitty tactic. Fake an injury so the defense doesn't smash you, then you exploit it.
Any decent bloke is not going to tackle a guy that stops running and clutches his hamstring so they dont exacerbate an injury.

We need to offer Joey Manu, Waiheke and Barrier Islands and a 10 year deal, how good is he.

Offer him a knightship, rename Queen street to Joey Manu Street, give him Waiheke, Barrier and the South Island. Whatever it takes. He’s that good. Football IQ, size and can play every position in the backline and play it well.

Quality try there from Newcastle.

Comes off the back of an offload from Klemmer. Did well to bounce out of a Trbojevic tackle and it advanced Newcastle further up field.

Brailey did well to get Milford up over the advantage line, they went through the hands before Young was able to put a kick in-field for Clune.

6-all after 17 minutes.
