DCE is always so impressive in interviews.
If you get a chance to watch it do yourselves a favour. I'm sure there will be a transcript, but to highlight:

This is what I was driving at a couple nights ago by asking ...what is the players union doing. I assume the players still have one (not that you'd know)
The players must still have some rights....bullshit open ended NRL contracts aside.

Surely a large portion of the players feel just like DCE and would prefer to concentrate on footy....instead of the NRL's latest agenda?

I mentioned it the other day, the NRL seems to look at the worst applicant for every single position they have and give them the job. It is a truly incompetent and pathetic organisation. I reckon one day they will be a case study in how to run an amazing product into the ground.

It is one of the reasons that I hate that whether an injury was sustained is a factor. It is absolutely ridiculous.

JWH could have fractured that kids larynx or ended up with an A. Fifita like injury and then it would have been weeks out. But because it didn't this time, we can wait until he does it again.

Like cleary's tackle on billy walters, that shit was nasty, but because (somehow) walters did not get injured, we are all good?

Then you have the finucane suspension for a head clash. This differed to napa's one against us because napa led with his head. Finucane's head clash was in my opinion an accident, but because Crichton got split, that must be punished?

I agree that the injury led to the harsher penalty, but Finucane collected Crichton in the head with his left shoulder as well. Considering the force he hit him with, I'm still surprised he stayed on the field.

I also agree the Napa situation was far worse.

How is Nelson Asofa-Solomona not suspended? It seems like every week he gets put on report for hitting some player high and with force or grubbing it up in some other way.
