Go Panthers. Quality game to start off, Latrell's passing is getting so good.

I gotta say, this is shaping up to be a great finals series, there are a number of teams that are humming along at present.

They've gone for the '03 fake field goal haha

I'd like to know what it feels like to win the MP one year.

21 seasons and counting...

That was very clever from Api to set up that match-winning try for Martin.

All of the defenders raced to O'Sullivan thinking he was going to get the ball for a field goal and Api darts right and catches out a lone defender that never had a chance of stopping Martin.

This is why the Panthers are #1. They just find ways to win.

Would you say that was "eyes up footy"? 😲

What did everyone make of the Latrell penalty that got the Panthers to 22-22?

For me, I would be feeling VERY hard done by if that was Souths. I know it happened to Herbie earlier in the year, so it's obviously 'the rules' but it's a shit rule.

Teams should be rewarded for big plays, not penalised for them.

Latrell's foot was on the line when Martin had rolled the ball, the dummy half wasn't quick enough.

Anyways, that turned out to be the game defining moment.. you kinda knew Souths had to get lucky to win that game, and Penrith aren't going to stay behind on the scoreboard for very long. Cool game though, super enjoyable to watch as a neutral.

It made sense to me, as he wasn’t marker and if the line wasn’t there and they had to be back 10m there’s no way he would have ever gotten to the ball. But I don’t know what the actual rule is regarding being that close to the line where you can’t actually be back 10m?

We got pinged for this earlier in the year and the ref's explanation was that you could not dive on the ball, but you could grab the ball so long as you remained on your feet. So either way Mitchell was in the wrong.

That is the only time Refs will call voluntary tackle .
You can dive in , but you gotta get back up again .
