it's because absolutely none of them want to be there. The players melt into a puddle of human flesh from even just a glare from Madge because they hate being there to begin with, so copping it from the boss at a job you already hate just makes it so much worse. As amazing as it is to say, their culture is worse than ours from the past few years.
