CROSS FORUM NRL 2022 Round 6 Discussion

Good.

It was clearly contrary conduct from Lomax. The try had been scored, there was no need to charge in full boar and jump on the back of an opposition player and the game needed to make a stand.

It's not worthy of a charge. They are mates, Lomax was rubbing in a bit, nothing in it. Move on. It was a stupid decision to charge him, especially when they didn't charge Frizell for slinging him to the ground and nearly knocking the bloke out.

Anyone got footage of this incident?

I think the game has brought this on themselves, 10 years ago he cops one on the chin and that’s the end of it. But now the nrl have stuck their nose in on every little thing, it would almost be weird if they didn’t charge him. Being slung to the ground isn’t enough of a punishment for being such a wanker and friz knows he can’t deck him…. Little blokes running around like big men these days and it’s all the nrl’s doing.

Like jumping on McInness for an excellent tackle but penalised because Papenheuzen faked an injury?

They are opposition players and there's a difference between rubbing it in and what Lomax did.

How about placing the blame on Lomax's actions instead of trying to normalise it?

If a Panthers player did that to one of our guys I'd want him shot into the Sun tbh. I'm assuming just a fine of some sort?

I wouldn't call putting yourself in an awkward position an excellent tackle. I'm fine with the way that was handled, penalty but no charge.

So you are ok with players feigning injury to get penalties? Because that is what happened there.

Parramatta holding down in a few tackles poor Tigers will struggle to get a rub of the green.

Adam O'Brien's going on the warpath at the reffing. Why does he always sound like he just got out of bed after a bender?

No, but I've long since accepted it's apart of the game.

Really struggling to see how the two situations are linked.

So just so we are clear, you are saying if Paps doesn't fake an injury, it is still given as a penalty?

Tigers bloody deserve that❤️

This is relentless from the Eels. How the scores are level i'll never know.

I thought Lomax should've been binned when it happened.

He was the chief antagonizer that led to the scuffle after the fact.... and he did it deliberately.
