BA moves Dylan Brown back to 5/8, but only because Opacic is back.

It was a stupid move that never should have happened.

Teams have been updated. Thanks for bearing with me, we're just trying to sync things up better with Silvertails and NZWarriors so I've got to wait for the go ahead before I can highlight all the team changes.

The big talking points for mine are the return of Tom Trbojevic & Stefano Utoikamanu. It also appears that Brian To'o could be back so supercoaches will be waiting with bated breath to see if he'll come in for May or Staines.

Newcastle have also made some major changes with Jake Clifford being outright dropped. Last year Cowboys fans would have felt aggrieved that Payten broke up a winning combination in Drinkwater/Clifford only to go on a massive losing streak with Drinkwater/Dearden. It appears those concerns have been quelled as the Knights opt for Hoy & Crossland.

I've got my fingers crossed for both those players. Crossland has had a very tough initiation into NRL, coming in as a utility during the pandemic era just to get whatever time on the field he could get and usually coming into the team missing players. He finds himself in a similar position with the club desperate for a win going to Townsville. It's a huge ask but for his sake I just hope he plays with a devil may care attitude.

On the plus side I'm happy to see the likes of Kobe Rugless in the mix. Something has to give for the Knights so getting these younger players involved who have been in the system for years at least seems like a productive use of time.

Rothfield reporting that the Steve Chiddy, the bunker official who called for Corey Horsburgh to be penalised for his high contact on Lodge, has been axed.

the NRL are even picking and choosing which refs to scapegoat. last week it was the on field ref sacked, this week the bunker official (for similar reasons). they can't do anything with consistency

Funny enough I have a shiver of dread when the on field ref talks to the bunker for the first time during our games when he says "Okay Chids". As soon as I hear that I know we're in for an 'eventful' night.

I think Eels will win tomorrow.

Panthers were very flat last week. They haven't been that good the past few weeks, they were just going up against bottom teams.

Eels haven't been great themselves, but they lift for these western derbies. With Brown moving back to 5/8, he'll bring that spark and provide that extra threat and take pressure off Moses.

I can see a win for the Eels.

Parramatta have been very disappointing this season to date, they are one of the teams that could beat Penrith though

No Slater rule for JAC though I'd say he had more intent to kick than Slater did back then.

I knew this game was going to be bad but I didn't realise how bad

Probably a preview of the spoon bowl if we're being honest

Here goes another no try, lol

I tell you what, it's so good seeing Jarrod Croker on the field tonight

TPJ is a good player but i hope his agent is getting twice the usual commission because he's a dead set genius if TPJ is taking home over $900k a year.
