NRL 2023 Finals Week 1 Discussion

I'm still not convinced he actually bit. Gamble's arm was right in his mouth and pushing further in as part of the tackle.

Then he might have a mark from the lower jaw .
Looked to me to be two marks which would imply clamping / biting force .

Now I think Jack dobbed himself in during his interaction with Klein at that moment . Gonna be interesting to see how it plays out . Maybe he un-retires from rep footy so he can run out for the Bunnies early next year ? What a fcking weasel !

You're biting someone in that situation too, unless you got no teeth.

He was wearing a fcking mouth guard .
His bottom teeth made the teeth impression , top jaw was a mouth guard impression . It was a reaction . But a poor one .

A premeditated bight a la Tommy Raudonikos requires you to remove the mouth guard 1st . LOL .

Surely Ponga has to be Cat 1 but will we pretend that knock out late doesn't matter?
It was bad, but Vlandiddlydoo will allow Ponga's brain to heal for 11 days next year, for the fans

The bloke that smacked him in the mouth leading to the KO ?
Nothing to answer for ?
#consitancy .

So it wasn't that bad then.

Yeah didn`t break the skin .
But ,, deserves a few good smacks in the head in retaliation . Any blatant bite , gouge or squirrel grip deserves instant justice by the opposition front rowers with indemnity from prosecution . IMO . LOL .

He didn't get smacked in the mouth. His head hitting the turf is what did the "damage"

He wasn't wearing a mouth guard.

Watching the replay of the Panthers game, that performance from Cleary was something else.

He didn't skip a bit with Luai out, he went up another level.

It's going to take something very special to stop this Panthers side from winning a third straight premiership.

Gamble imo is being a bit of a **** about this whole bite thing now. Couldnt wait to go crying to the ref about it in the game, now saying there is no more to it and its none of his business. IF you are going to make a big deal about it in the first place, follow it though.

Nah, in the heat/shock of the moment you react one way, especially under fatigue. Once you cool down and think about it your perspective can change.
