Lane might get in but he is coming back from injury, he was in the reserves last week but didn't play NSW cup for Wenty so I don't think he was dropped.

I think this is the right choice, Gamble and Ponga have a good combination going but Hastings has none at all with Ponga on the right and it kills attack, Gamble has to be the 7 imo, let him go on the right his best side and that will bring Ponga and Young into the game fully.

Newcastle have some good attack within them you can see it when you watch their games but some changes are needed.

That said Hastings is by far their best kicker.
