Exactly.

Much as we should be grateful the Dolphins let us be part of their organisation, in terms of the Hostplus Cup and then once announced as the new NRL team, they were always going to prioritise their players first. Fair nuff.

But it has caused issues and we're going to have to work to remedy those issues.

As unhappy as I am about Friday - Webster was always going to be schooled a few times this season, let's face it, look how Ciraldo got schooled today - I don't see that performance as any sign of "We'll tease Finals Footy until July and then do our usual crappy stuff because Next Year Is Our Year"...

2 historic thrashings this week. A 3rd slightly lesser thrashing and a fourth spanking. Great result for the NRL?

Well, how predictable were the thrashings, as seperate from the results?

Maybe we all thought the Tigers and Bulldogs would lose, but I certainly didn't start watching those games thinking "here comes a 50+ thrashing."

I actually thought after the first 10 of the Cowboys v Tigers game that the Cowboys would win it, but by at most 24-28...

combination of the NRL's rule changes, poor coaching from the clubs, poor management from clubs and not having enough talent to field 17 teams

And players pooling to the better teams.

Imagine if Wests still had some of James Tedesco, Josh Addo-Carr, Mitchell Moses, Aaron Woods, Martin Taupau, etc to build a team around.

Imagine if Ben Hunt wasn’t abandoning a sinking ship. Imagine if players didn’t play for unders for glamour clubs.

There are enough players for more teams but they need spreading around. The cap needs tweaking to ensure teams don’t get locked out of building a competitive squad.

The hand on face thing needs to be stamped out

There is absolutely no reason for a player to put his hands on another players face or to rub it on the turf when getting up from a tackle. You see it happen all the time..

Ben hunt isn’t a dragons jr they paid him ridiculous overs to get him from us, we wanted to keep him.

The problem is there are some clubs that can’t produce their own players that the nrl needs to prop up. Roosters/storm for eg. When clubs like raiders/knights/warriors get pillaged.
