both these teams are in real trouble when they face a competent side

This is a worthy Sunday arvo game. Not for the football but for the comedy.

Hastings challenging the Young bin is pretty much peak comedy.

You can tell when they made the draws they made all the shit ***** play each other early on purpose so teams like us get a bs hard early draw.

He was standing upright.
Just keeps getting his head in the wrong position.

He constantly has his head getting collected by the shoulder of the runner. Even last week he got rocked by a shoulder to the head, which could've seen him go off for a HIA.

Maybe he goes into tackles too hard??

JT, Lockyer, etc. got through their career with mostly poor defence, but they mostly just got themselves in front of the runner until help arrived. The catch and wrap technique... it results in missed tackles, ala Bhunt, but at least you aren't leading with your face into shoulders like Ponga currently is

so i wonder who will retire first ponga or keary.

Both get completly knocked cold from any sort of head bump now.

Surely both are only 1 knock away from having to retire. there bodies clearly are not right.
Pretty sad for them.
Walsh moves one step closer to the Origin 1 spot.

Has Api got any long lost cousins in Brisbane? He needs compassionate family leave to spend a couple of years with them.

Ipap moved to the right... makes far more sense.

I'd say Douehi will be better at getting him the ball than Brooks

Ponga might have to go to Union where backs touch the ball 3 times a game and take minimal contact

As usual... they had a piss draw last year as well.

Only have to play top 8 teams 10 times this year and will have only played two top 8 teams twice by round 9... hell of a way to get your season off to a great start.

You'd think a team that is competing for a top 4 spot might warrant playing as many high profile games as possible, but nah you guys are all good.

They don't even have to travel to Canberra ... let alone having to travel to that shit hole in winter like we have to ... every fucking year
