CROSS FORUM NRL 2023 Round 8 Discussion

Katoa's so good. He always takes high % options, doesn't overplay his hand, runs the ball if there's nothing on, finishes sets off well. He hasn't made an official error since round 1 and now he's got a 26 point comeback under his belt with a 3rd string halves partner next to him.

WTF? I gave up at 20-0

Wallace has been good from the bench.
Always seems to lift against his former clubs.

Was one of the best players on the field in the Battle of Brisbane, he led the way this afternoon.

Awesome win for the Phins, I couldn't blame for some serious Phins Up action after that second half.

When does Holbrook get sacked?

Muscling up and out thinking the opposition

The ref certainly didn't want a penalty to decide this game (or even send it into golden point). that was a clear flop from Gilbert with about 30 seconds to go

Man, the ladder is super tight. Kind of unbelievable.

I wonder how many teams could still be within a chance of finals with a couple of rounds to go??

Probably just evening out the dubious ones against the Phins in the first half.

Agree but I reckon they should've been shaping for a 2 point field goal

Also… there’s just something about Gold Coast sporting teams that makes them soft.

not going to lie i was riding the dolphins home all the second half

When you look at it, its was a shocking first half from the Phins, and then when the Titans got put under pressure they collapsed. In reality, two not great sides, but one didnt give up under adversity.

Must kill you to give them any credit 🙄
By all means they deserve credit for the win, but I don't agree it was as amazing a comeback as being made out to be. Titans are a worse defensive side then even the Tigers.

The Dolphins were clearly the better team that second half and should have won by more. I've never seen a player just surrender like that without some serious injury. Alex Twal would have been blowing up if he didn't have a game coming up!

I credit us for being the only QLD side not to be generous and gift a win to The
