CROSS FORUM NRL 2023 Round 8 Discussion

How many of those currently represent a Tier 1 side? Jesse Bromwich, Felise Kaufusi & Tom Gilbert? You could have included Kenny Bromwich as well if he wasn't sitting on the sidelines.
Does it matter? Those players still played top tier and have learnt from it. It would be just as easy to point out that Lazo was no longer playing for Australia.
It's one thing to get a merger club up 25 years ago, it's another to do it in a current climate.
That is debatable. The game has changed and they have WB. Not to mention that the NRL has changed its approach to the game. Plus the Dolphins are an established club.

not really. Manly would still be leading even if he made it

that is a serious coach killer, going absolutely nowhere, all of the sudden a chance and to so meekly turn it over wow.

Fucking Brooks... bloke is just born to lose.

He would've only had fullback to beat and a man in support

I still think its a miracle the got a side together in the time they did. The NRL sold them short .

Dolphins should buy out brooks. Needs a change of scenery

All over, I just don't see the Tigers pulling it out of their ass

Also, the Melbourne representative players (e.g. Kimmorley, Howe and Ross) came out of the SL era, right? So there were less players to select for rep roles. Were they as deserving?
That means that the players in the Dolphins team that played rep were chosen from a larger pool of talent, making them theoretically better.

Last set of the game to win it and they've gone one out twice
