NRL 2026 Round 2 Discussion

Cowboys are dead inside.. but you just know it’s going to be 34-all with 15 to go when we play them in a couple of weeks …
 
Of course there's no let up from the Tigers.

They're fresh as a daisy from the 9 six agains and 5 penalties.
 
Cows given a pineapple of a draw... imagine returning from Vegas and then being sent to Sydney against the team that was coming off the first round bye
 
If marker reaches out and knocks the ball down is that not a strip. The same as the call on Couchman on Xerri R1?
 
Tigers will always own the Cows

Payten deserves this and so much worse

Fainu try, fair enough. The Cowboys looked spooked after the sin-bin and had no control of the ruck whatsoever.

The Doueihi try was embarrassing and they couldn't hold the ball.

I don't like the brand of footy the set restarts encourages, but teams have to take some ownership as well.
 
Dargons vs Storm could be 100-0... but storm will ease up because they already have an eye on next week

Well...comparatively.

They were up against the 2025 wooden spooners, followed by the 2024 wooden spooners. Both very winnable games.

It gets tougher next week...

the Titans at home! Put a fork in them!

Would not be shocked if the Dragons win this. They did so last year and if they played like they did last week they're in with a shot.

People want “miracles” right…. What IF we miraculously win against those cheat fcuks next week to start our season? What a way to comeback from our disappointing losses hey?
At same me point we’ve to win at the shithole ground.

I was thinking more about round 2 against a Sydney team.

They hate travelling to Sydney so they were never going to turn up for this one

Cows were terrible with their intent and effort but spooked is exactly what they were.
They didn’t know what they could or couldn't do with the ruck.
I think it's total confusion partly because it's so selective.
Tigers markers could have been pinged so many times for not being square but weren't.
I don't think the refs know either.
I have no idea what they were trying to achieve with this rule change except maybe it was supposed to go hand in hand with the restart rule.
All I k ow is this version of Vlandoball looks too much like touch footy.
I'm not enjoying any of the games because I don't think many of them are being decided by the players.

That would be nice but I dont think we're up to speed yet and Melbourne looked to be on it from the start.

So at this point it would look like just applying some thoughts and prayers
 
Warbrick goes up 1 handed and makes contact... this new disruptor rule doesnt apply if youre wearing purple apparently

The thing with us is all ‘mental strength & focus’. If we get those right along with our ball control, we will be back.
