Let's review.

Brisbane in '99 were second last at this stage.

Eels in '06 would have been second last as well had the Warriors not been deducted 4 competition points for breaching the salary cap.

Very few teams have actually missed the finals after winning the minor premiership, let alone finished bottom four. The only team that comes to mind is the Roosters in 2016 and they virtually blew their squad up and had a few setbacks.

Is anyone surprised by the Raiders? I feel this is their lot. They're a fringe top 8 team that every now and then gets it right but they can never sustain the luck long enough. They never quite find that run where they make the Top 4 consistently.

I asked my Raiders mate his thoughts on this. He feels the same really and doesn't see them being more then that under Stuart.

Watching Kayo stream they are using Solid Rock by Goanna for their ANZAC round commercial. They truly must not understand the meaning behind that song. It's not a song about Australia's past to be proud of(or even relevent to ANZAC day or service).
