Thoughts ?

I think our try against Canberra really deserves to be #1, but i am terribly biased ;)

Any great tries that they've missed ?

I'm don't think the Friend backflip try was the best this year... good yes, but not #1 IMO

I reckon our one off the kickoff vs Souths should be there . The first time we played Melbourne we scored a good one too . The one vs Canberra is my favourite too but I think the Warriors one will win it . Kinda like a consolation prize for sucking .

Not sure how JWH managed to make the list..

Good effort, but that's not a top 10 try..

I would rate Shannon Boyd's tries above his..

I would even rate Vidot's try against Manly above that.

What about Reed's try against the Storm in Melbourne (the one with 239 passes according to Gus)?

it likely hurt them to put two of our tries on the top 10 list ... no way they could bring themselves to put 3 on the list

We should have had 4-5 on that list.

Maranta try vs Raiders.
Reed try vs Storm
Milford try vs Knights
Maranta 1st try vs Tigers
Ben Hunt try vs Rabbitohs

Hunt vs Rabbitohs or Maranta vs Tigers for mine.

Or, all of them.

Even Hunt VS the Roosters was better than JWH

Hunt vs Souths was a pearler....probably my pick.

Oates V Rabbitohs is better, in my very biased opinion, than the JWH try. Sure, JWH ran over 3 players in his but Oates dragged a guy 30ish meters after running from the other end of the field.

Oates v Dylan Walker .has got my vote too

Reading my mind again you creepy bastard. Get outa there.

Friends was flukey as ****. I have no idea why it has been celebrated over a calculated and even somewhat planned try that seemed way too hard to pull off but they did anyway. That's deserving of Try of the Year, not some idiot jumping for the ball, getting belted in the back by a defender then sent ass over head and you fluke it through the legs at the last minute.

Big League's list was worse.

Out of 5 tries, Maranta's effort is lucky to hang onto 5th spot.

Th other 4 included...

4. Alex Johnston vs Sydney Roosters Round 2
Greg Inglis retrieves the ball from his in-goal, shrugs off a few defenders and sends it wide to Johnston who races 90 odd metres.

3. Shaun Johnson vs Cronulla Sharks Round 9
Warriors take an intercept that puts the Sharks in sixes and sevens. SJ gets the ball, goes the wrong way but ends up taking advantage of the tired defence to score.

2. Semi Radradra vs North Queensland Round 13
Eels put up a kick that bounces fortutiously to Semi, who puts Takairangi down the touchline, before Brad throws a speculator back in-field which is picked up by an Eels support player who finds Semi to score.

1. Tuimoala Lolohea vs Melbourne Round 18
The Nathan Friend 180 try.

I can live with the Lolohea try taking top spot, but some of those other efforts weren't as spectacular as the Broncos try.

But hey, only the Warriors, Tigers (when they want to) and Eels play entertaining football.

I agree BP, I think we've got at least 2 (Canberra, Melbourne) and maybe Oates v Souths.

Would have been interesting if Manly's illegitimate try to sink Canberra made the list. The poor GH!
