I’ve heard stories about his diet when he was in peak shape. This is diet, no professional training standards, and metabolism slowing with age.

Not from all accounts from players when he was still playing.

Entire loaves of Devon and tomato sauce sandwiches is a common tale, although hard to know if it’s a ‘the fish was this big’ story.

Possibly a mental thing where he just can’t stop himself, be it willpower or an actual diagnosable thing.

I wish we would sign Izzy. Imagine the saltiness from the rest of the NRL. Its mad they wont register him. If he agree to their terms he shouldnt be prohibited from playing footy.

That's incredibly sad really. Should have been the greatest forward to ever play the game. Shocking how it's turned out for him. Just to think the bloke pretty much did a standing backflip not so long ago. One of my favourite players yet probably the player I've been most disappointed with at the same time.
