No he doesn't make a decent point, because all he is doing is using his soap box to continue to try and make Bennett look bad.

If this was actually about clubs being more open to promoting the game then it would be an open letter or article to all clubs and coaches, not aggressive and needy text messages to one coach like a 15 year old girl who's boyfriend hasn't replied after 5 minutes. Reading that transcript I was actually expecting a threat of self harm from Rothfield to try and guilt a response.

Now I'm all for more promotion of the game, goodness me the NRL could be so much better at everything but this is just petty.

The guy coaches England, the Broncos and is often engaging about topics he actually wants to talk about. Phil barely writes anything above a gossip column. I'm happy to take Wayne's side in this one.

So the NRL have decided to scrap Livestream and are now using RugbyPass which is only available in some Asian countries.. And you have to pay for it.. And you can't download the games.

But then the NRL promise that for countries that don't have a NRL broadcaster, RugbyPass will be completely free, but it's not. You still have to pay, and you still can't use it outside of Asia.

The NRL are shit *****.. They really have no fucking clue about this side of the business.

Official that it is gone 2018 but NRL still believes that the 9's is a part of NRL's future
