The Wests Tigers ANZAC jersey situation is IMO the very definition of a storm in a tea cup, and is a classic example of the wrong focus this crazy PC world now has.

The club tried to do the right thing, they are trying to show support and respect, but instead of gratitude they get complaints.

This is tantamount to me waving a rainbow flag in support of the LBGQT community and folks having a crack at me for getting some of the colours wrong, or forgetting a letter.

If I'm supportive of you, respectful of you, I should be appreciated for that, not condemned for getting my support wrong FFS.

And to really top of this whole joke of so called offensiveness, thy bloody well had the image checked by the ARMY.

In RL terms......its like wearing another teams jersey when commemorating a Brisbane Broncos special event.
Maybe not immediately, but as the night wore on, and drinks had been had
someone's gone aim in on you.

Absolutely this. I did exactly this and ANZAC images suitable to something like this are hard to find online.

I disagree...I found a couple (free), that with a bit of Lightroom/Photoshop.....could have had the same vibe.
I just couldn't be arsed learning how to do the orange glow effect.

Someone probably had a budget to work with....I wonder what they spent it on?

They totally screwed this up, there's no doubt about that, but the reaction is over the top.

I just don't see how it is offensive to do something in support of someone even though you stuff it up badly.

It's offensive to come out and say something really horrible or nasty about the ANZACS but there's nothing offensive about showing your support for them, albeit very badly.

It makes you go 'oh, there there' and pat them on the head condescendingly not vilify them.
