Eels just signed Hoffman on a three year deal. He must want to play wing at Parramatta because French should be given first shot at fullback for them next year.

If they play him at fullback it's only going to be in defence and let French take over while in attack. Their centre positions are already sewn up with better players in Takairangi and Jennings so the only positions left are either wing or fullback, unless...wait...5/8!!!!

Agreed. I'd only take him on minimum wage to play in the Qcup as a reserve winger, and even then I'd have to think long and hard about it.
