I agree but hasn't Mal said they won't pick retiring players? If that is the case, he's circumventing the "rules" for his own personal gain, definition of selfish.It is understandable though. If you are the best in your position, why shouldn't you get to play in a World Cup just because you are retiring? It is a World Cup, you should be picking your best side, choose for the future after.
