NRL Player Movements and Rumours 2015

This is done with now; he was going to be at the Broncos until the change in coach. Titans then became his choice.

Just so we are clear, you are telling me that DCE would rather be coached by Neil Henry at an absolute shambles of a club, or Anthony Griffin than by Wayne Bennett?

Now I know I'm pro-bennett and your word is treated like gospel, but I am finding that very hard to believe

Let's just say he had 5 million reasons to join the Titans. To construe this as anything but chasing a huge contract is, well... Just complete bullshit.

I'm guessing it was probably more the fact that Bennett brought Darius and is playing Milford at Five-Eighth, we wouldn't have room in the salary cap or the spine even if he wanted to come here next year.

I'd say it's nothing to do with him not wanting to play under Wayne.

That's my assumption too, but the way 1910 phrased it was as it was DCE's choice

Hook has personal ties to Daly's family, which is why it was always rumoured and I'm sure the Broncos at one point were looking to bring him into the club.

Rumours of Manly chasing Trent Hodkinson as a replacement for DCE are popping up. The Bulldogs always seem to have plenty of salary cap $$ so I'll be surprised if that move happens. The Bulldogs do have Mbye who looks ready for first grade.

I'm sure the Broncs would have gone a lot harder at DCE if Ben Hunt didn't have his stand-out season last year.

I cant help but feel a bit disappointed that we weren't more prepared to go after DCE. Forget Boyd and leave him at Newcastle, move Barba on, move Thaiday on, play Milford at Fulback and partner DCE with Hunt.

We have plenty of backrower depth to cover Thaiday, and currently neither Hunt or Milford offer a very good kicking game.

Milford at the back for a few more years would not do him any harm.

Salary cap? What salary cap? Or will they use the Roosters excuse? "Kyle Turner is injured long term so that'll free up enough to sign Sam"...

Was going to say something about the fact it's an image file and not a legit tweet...

2.5 times better than Norman? Correct.

Good for them. Their manager needs a slap.

Great news for the Knights ..... those kids are fantastic players and the real future of Newcastle.

Seems Beau Scott might be on his way out though, looking for an early release.

I read that too with either the Dragons or the Tigers being the likely candidates.
