So provided you arent registering them in your top 30, transfer fees dont apply?
Sweet. Get the cheque book out lads and starting buying every promising 16 and 17yo.
Shouldn’t finding promising 17 year olds already be your plan?

they're after every talented player that doesn't play for them
you'd hope so. where are ours?Shouldn’t finding promising 17 year olds already be your plan?
Politis is taking up putt putt judging by the youth they're going for.....they're after every talented player that doesn't play for them
Roosters sign themyou'd hope so. where are ours?
No, the actual comment was they would not be looking to be change the rules for the competition in the near future, but would look at an exemption so Suuali can play next year for the Roosters. Not even trying to hide the bias or lack of equity.there are also reports that the NRL will change the rules around age limits so he can play for the Rorters next year
Just like we've been waiting for Cameron Smith to retire, we're also waiting for Politis to retire too. It's hard to imagine them being as successful without him, similar to how the Broncos declined after the 90s.
No point buying them if we don't know what to do with them.So provided you arent registering them in your top 30, transfer fees dont apply?

If the club employed competent people in basically any capacity then yeah, sure.Shouldn’t finding promising 17 year olds already be your plan?
That may all be true, but you don't move in those sort of circles without knowing how to get things done behind closed doors and outside the rules. He came on board in the 1976 and they weren't successful until he got Gus and was chairman in the 1990's He's endured plenty of hard years in his time at the club.
He's a terrific man, came from nothing in Ipswich and has built himself and the Roosters up. Made them viable through the club buying land and restructuring the Leagues Club when it was a shambles.
He's surrounded himself with other good business men over the years who run the club like Bouris- He's a great story and chat.

It would be naive in the extreme to believe everything is above board at the Roosters. I'm not suggesting they're on their own here either, simply that they appear to do it far better than anyone else when it comes to making things happen.
You wouldn't even need it to be that obvious.Helps having an ex-employee as salary cap auditor.
