The player would meet with every club if he had even the slightest interest in joining them, be like if I was seen with Margot Robbie.. yeah okay, it's a bit of a stretch but just because I met her, doesn't mean I am getting any further.

They did just lose RTS who was on a lot of money. They also offloaded a bunch of other players such as O'Sullivan, Hiku, Fusitu'a, Ah Mau, Lawnton, Evans, Maumalo, Townsend etc.

Each one of them wouldn't have been on big money but when you add it all up, they would have freed up quite a bit of cap space. Their only other signings have been fringe first graders and some re-signings.
