NRL Players and family members in hot water

At least Mitchell came out and owned up to doing the wrong thing didn't he? He hasn't made a thousand excuses like Addo-Carr or am I wrong? At least it is something (even if small).

The only reason there will be any punishment at all is everyone is having a big cry about it. It's really not a big deal.

You are right. I can't think of any reason whatsoever why gathering together in groups at present would be considered even a small deal, I mean apparently it is being done all over the world and nothing at all is unusual.

You sound like a Covid-19 denier.

Its a hoax, just ask DJ Trump.

According to the reaction they went on a camping trip in the middle of Times Square.

no no. It’s just broncosgoat being a contrarian for trolling purposes as usual. He’ll pull out the same line of “just because I have a different opinion to you you call me a troll”, ignoring the fact that he chooses the opposing opinion on literally every topic across the board.

Zero cases again in Qld overnight - I dont deny its existence, I just question it's relevance.

Zero cases because for the most part people are doing what they are meant to.

Honestly I find it hard to believe you aren't trolling given your history and the fact that these are pretty simple concepts and you seem like a fairly intelligent person.

He's just doing the same thing Addo-Carr did, using culture as an excuse and just saying the same thing Addo-Carr said in his little bullshit apology.

I wouldn't be surprise if Addo-Carr got the cultural gathering idea from Mitchell.

No, the punishment will be handed down because aside from breaking a law, you've treated your team mates, fans and your employer with utter contempt with your actions.

The NRL is at this very moment delicately poised on a knife edge for getting re-started, which means you and your team mates and the guys who work in the club offices who don't earn hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, can all go back to work and start getting paid and looking after their families again. Fans can have their footy back on TV, which in a time like this would mean a great deal to so many.

The NRL can't get re-started unless it gets buy in and clearance from several levels of government and various health authorities, and they won't get that unless they can show they are taking it seriously and will run a watertight operation and that their employees will act with complete responsibility and compliance.

To go and disregard all this was incredibly stupid. To then post it on your social media (not a punter with a couple of hundred friends mind you, a footballer with tens of thousands of followers) is so idiotic it defies belief. You've put your own health and the health of others in danger, and on top of that, your actions have the potential to have serious financial and economic repercussions for not only yourselves, but your colleagues as well, some of whom do not enjoy the significant wealth the game provides these two idiots and are now out of a job until the game can be switched back on.

I'm sorry but, they've absolutely backed the NRL into a corner here with such a blatantly selfish disregard for others, and a swift and severe punishment is the only hope the NRL has for not letting the authorities use it against them to deny them the chance to get the competition restarted.

Cmon mate, you cant be that dense.
Firstly, its been shown the indigenous community is at higher risk from this virus.
Secondly, Latrells coach is smack in the middle of the most at risk group.
Thirdly, the comp and V'landys is going above and beyond to get the comp back up and running for our entertainment and for the financial well being of over 400 other players, and all the staff involved. They have jeopardized that.
Fourth, Addo-Carr has been warned twice already before this incident, so this is not a one off thing.

You can sit here and play it down all you like, but this virus can kill people, not only that, but these idiots put their families at risk, and the livelihood of all the players NOT breaking the rules.

I shake my head at your posts sometimes mate, i really do.

On another note I don't think I've ever seen so many flannys in the one photo.

It's a big deal because the people in power and their health officials say it is.
It's a big deal because the NRL are doing everything possible to restart ASAP and there are plenty of people ready to get in the of that without the fuckwits giving them a reason.

Peter V does not come across like the type of guy to go easy. I'm positive he isn't.
They will feel him.
