NRL Players and family members in hot water

WTF is wrong with these cockwombles driving without a license. They should all get a 12 month ban for stupidity.

I will never understand. Many years ago, maybe you could get away with it, but in the digital age you're fucked.

I think it's a matter of getting away with is a couple of times without being caught. The more you do it, the more confident you are about not getting caught. At some point you just think you'll keep getting away with it. In your head you don't think you'll NEVER get pulled over, you just need to get away with it until X date when you get your license back. It obviously just takes that one occasion of being pulled over for an RBT or whatever for it to all come undone.

The thing is, if you are tempted to risk driving without a licence, anyone with more than 1 brain cell would do so as low profile as is possible; you certainly are not driving 150 in a 110 zone.

He was probably just speeding up to get past some other ***** until he got a safe spot and didn't realise the police had set a speed trap in a really cunty spot @Mr Fourex . 🤣🤣

We don’t catch the smart criminals that often

Isn't it interesting that a Roosters player, Sandon Smith has plead guilty to negligent driving with police saying that his victims injuries amounted to grievous bodily harm.

As a result of his injuries, the man underwent “many surgeries” and his little toe had to be amputated, according to the police facts.

He also suffered further fractures in his fibular and right foot.

According to court documents, the man continues to see a psychiatrist, physiotherapist and pain specialist for his injuries and may need further surgeries.

yet I see no calls for him to be sacked or indications that the NRL will hand him a lengthy suspension 🤔

And it happened in March, but the media somehow never got wind of it... almost like they could get preferential treatment from a club chairman if they just keep things quiet.... also interesting that at every opportunity they spew positive narratives about his club unlike the overwhelming history of what they do for every other club.

He wasn`t playing 1st grade back in March .
The Ezra / Leniu episode would have been enough for the Broncos / Roosters quota of words per issue .

Sandon Smith sentenced to a two-year conditional release order on Friday after pleading guilty to negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm .. blah blah blah link below

But what I found interesting in the article was this "Smith was on his way to footy training at Allianz Stadium, inching an Audi A5 out of a driveway at the Vaucluse home he was renting off a friend."

So old mate was driving his Audi A5 out of the home he's renting from a 'friend' in Vaucluse... where the median house price is $8.1M.

Is Sandon Smith with his 29 first grade games on $1m a year or something... seems a very luxurious life for a guy I would've expected to be about 20th on the roster .... or does he just have really nice 'friends' / Uncles

His "friend" is either Nick Politis or a business associate of Nick Politis.

Will the salary cap auditor pop up though??

It's literally been stated now that he's renting from a friend... how is he affording a place like that on what the NRL know his salary is
