NRL Players and family members in hot water

Fifita was also kicked out but it seems he was a little bit more helpful. Bloke deserves no praise at all

Of course he does. He was a rat bag, and he's been doing far better since pulling his head in. It absolutely deserves praise, even if you and I still think he's a shit ****.

He was also acting like a dick head and was asked to leave as well. He deserves no praise whatsoever for being kind enough to leave nicely after being kicked out in the first place. I've spent years working in bars and whilst I appreciate when they're asked to leave and do so nicely I won't be praising his actions because he acted a bit better than his mate did.

Can't believe we're resorting to singing the praises of someone for not throwing a tantrum and by acting like a normal human adult. Guess that shows where Rugby League is at as a whole.

"Wow, unbelievable restraint from Andrew Fifita for not hurling abuse or fighting those staff members, he's really turned his life around."

What's next, we praise someone for paying their taxes?

Soon we will be praising Russell Packer for just punching someone instead of stomping on their head

I didn't praise him in this instance, I was quite clearly talking about his career overall.

The report I read yesterday had the RSL staff praising Fifita for helping. It didn’t mention Fifita in any other context.

The report I read quoted RSL management stating they told both Fifita and Dugan to leave.

If you’re told to leave, then you must be doing something.

actually not necessarily ... I've worked plenty of pubs and clubs in my time and quite often people will get asked to leave if they are simply too intoxicated. the person may not have caused any trouble at all. (this is due to the licencing laws around patron intoxication and potential penalties/liabilities for breaching said laws and regulations)

FTR, not defending Fifita, just passing on my experience.

Some pubs ask you to leave if you laugh and talk too loud

My best one I was kicked out of a pub because one of the pissed locals knocked my drink over and broke the glass. Of course they kept serving him though.

On the flip side of that, I had a mate fall off a bar stool in front of the bouncers and somehow managed to talk his way out of getting punted.

That was at the Alderly before it became all wanky

I got punted from the RE for being drunk when I was the designated driver and had only been drinking Coca-cola. I was escorted out by the bouncer. Not sure why they did this? 4 other people lost their designated driver.

Almost the exact same thing happened to me. Our designated driver got kicked out for being too drunk when she'd been on coke all night. She put her head in her hands on the table and they took that to mean she was plastered lol. Fucking Rosies

I loved Rosies. My sober mate got kicked out of there too and I was messy. I think places like that do it because you're not spending any money

Many a messy night was had there and it was just so fucking seedy haha. It was so dark as well.....you'd think you're on to a good thing and then the lights would come on. Ouch

So this is how I find out how you really felt! You said you needed to wee and you'd be back, and I never heard from you again until we found each other again in RLeague.

Everybody is thinking way too deep about bouncer’s intentions.

They kick you out because the managers are usually around and they have to do something every few hours to justify their paycheque. They let drunk people stay because they don’t give a shit and couldn’t be bothered dealing with it, then later in the night they think “I should probably be seen doing something....I should find someone to kick out”.

They see you do something a little wobbly and they think “eh, he’ll do”. He walks up to you and you start arguing about how you’re not even drunk and how unfair it is (he’s heard this a million times before, whether he thinks you’re lying or not). Now he just wants to kick you out because it’s fucking annoying for security to have every other prick talking back to them.

People greatly overestimate how much th average gaurd cares about their job.

I know this because I was a part time bouncer for years when I was younger.
