Goodness the Broncs have some bad contracts in there.

Throw Fifita's money 800k at Keary now!

I’m comfortable offering Keary $1 million for two reasons, he is worth it and if he doesn’t take it, it surely pushes the Roosters price up to keep him.

It would be interesting if it was an NRL approved list... rather than CM google searching their own articles for contract values to throw together a list of 100 or so names with made up numbers

I do find it hard to believe the only player in that $300K bracket is Fifita.

It’s clearly a tactic by CM to create the narrative that the broncos have mismanaged their cap so much that their star player was only being paid $300k and it shouldn’t be any wonder why he is moving for more money... it’s either that or 116 is some mystical number for countdowns :xxxx:

It's all crap. They have to be estimates. Boyd signed a 2.5m 4 year deal as reported by the CM I believe. Sure, I might not be remembering correctly.

It was reported as $750,000 a season.

Yet more journo speculation. But it is interesting to note the Roosters have 6 big names to go while already having 8 in the bottom half.

And how bad is our situation? Bird, Boyd and Milf are our three highest paid players. One is out for the season and the other two might as well be.

I thought it was a 4 year deal totalling 2.5m approximately. I'd say only a few know the truth ,tax office, his agent ,WB, the club, Mrs Boyd ! Anyway, surely the CM hasn't got a spy in the ATO??

I never saw any reports for 4 years for $2.5 million, but do recall a story last year about his salary being front-loaded and he was set to be on significantly less in his final year.

You're right though, you wouldn't put your life on any of these figures. I just think it's interesting to have this journo tip-sheet on hand just to see what the narrative is and how it may change.

You say that like the sombrero has a limit

Seeing Haas so far down that list is a crime.
