I can definitely understand players looking to stay home... also because they were going to be in Brisbane yesterday and are now heading to Sydney today.
Broncos are a bit different where everyone's known they're heading to Sydney since the team has been named... easier for their families to sort things out ahead of time.
I would say that the dolphins should've known something was up a bit earlier because there was no way they were going to be playing at Suncorp on Friday night.
