NRL Round 3 Discussion

When was the last time Penrith not only lost two in a row ... But did it while conceding 30+ points on both matches

I know the penalty against Munster was a joke but the Penrith player was on the ground and dragged about 10m over the side line, surely THAT should be a penalty to Penrith.

No argument, but that wasn't what it was for. It is the intent behind the action that is outrageous, and I fucking loath Melbourne.

Penrith would be wrapped in that effort. Almost as good as a win and clearly the best 2 sides in the comp IMO.
Got the bunnies next without Cleary so that will be a test get get up after tonight.

Who was their fullback at the back end? Talagi? Whoever it was was caught out multiple times defensively.

Interesting some of the attacking structures Penrith came up with tonight.
The depth outside Martin and then the winger being so close to the centre playing for the shutdown D was very effective.
Looking to see how teams combat that because if they change to a slide they still had the decoy as a flat pass option.

Just watched some of Gees **** ups again. Munsters hip drop was ridiculous and he says "you have a duty of care" funny that didn't exist when Cleary jumped into Hughs . It was awkward but still he jumped in the way with no intention of competing for the ball. and it turned out to be pretty dangerous. Just because he got hurt it's not scrutinised.

Munsters penalty for roughing up Martin. FMD that fucker is a serial offender for exactly that type of shit.

Alomotis try when Cole ran behind his own player, this no call is shitting me after the second time in 2 weeks it's happend. How is it different from catching the ball on the inside shoulder and running behind your player on a block play. ? Is this the new interpretation? because if it is I don't think it's been talked about. I know they have adjusted the black and white ruling on the lead runner ( if some contact has been made but the try wouldn't have been stopped) but zero has been said about being allowed to run behind, and the players don't know it either because they are still giving themselves up to a voluntary tackle when they run those playes and get it wrong.

Numerous 6 agains for **** knows what when the riff were trying to get back in the game.
That was the strongest sense I've had that a ref tried to manufacture a close finish and the coaches can't call it out publicly when that shit happens.
Penrith were gutsy as hell but they really got a bit of help in the last 25 mins.
