I'm not a professional athlete but it must be bloody demoralising going from playing in front of 40,000 every week at home in the prime time slot to playing in a derby no one cares about and the biggest crowds and game of the year is against the team you used to play for with a good year being making the finals. I'm not just saying that as a broncos fan, I'm seriously thinking that would SURELY have a demoralising impact on your own thrill of playing in the nrl.

Didn't the Dolphins open up the season with 32K at Suncorp? Sure, the crowds are going to be slightly down and it's going to be hard yakka at the beginning but it'd be exciting to be at a new club and be a part of that growth.
