I don't blame her that she left. I blame the NRL. They completely overhauled the salary cap rules a year after they overhauled them again only because we were still good. They finally stopped tinkering with it when we weren't the top team anymore. While Sydney Roosters and Newcastle were building super teams, we were barely hanging on.
 
Imagine how good the game will be once Politis and Vlandys **** off. Unfortunately I don’t think it will be soon but it will be great.

The high turnover has always existed; it was 40% at the end of the first year.

It's been an on-going issue- I think the longer contracts have stopped the flow a bit or at least given some security to a few.

But until they are all paid enough to not work you will keep getting it. The av now is about $35k which means if you have to move for work you have to change teams.

Based on photos from the club at pre-season, Jada Ferguson and Lauren Dam will be at the club for 2025.

While nothing’s guaranteed (suck it Knights), it’d be strange for them to be back training only to not get a deal/leave

Could’ve sworn she was already on the books for ‘25.

I think the continual longer season will help keep players as they won’t see it as just a few months away from home and it’s doable, especially still being semi-professional

Dam To Stay A Bronco in 2025

Lauren Dam has signed a one-year extension with the Broncos, keeping her in Brisbane until the end of the 2025 season.

If nuaasala carries her unbelievable pacific championship form into next season and Lafaele continues to improve her rugby league transition that’s got to be the best pack by far. Keilee as the clean up woman and Brill‘s prime Cheese impact through the middle after Jada goes off is just an embarrassment of riches.

I don’t even know how shalom will be used but you’d think she’s going to find her way into the team sooner rather than later. Does she have the versatility to play a bit of edge I wonder.

Upton should thrive playing on the back of that platform. Hope we don’t get sentimental and try find a place for Maddick in that backline though, she’d get ragdolled on the wing. She had a purple patch and good on her after a horrid season and a bit, but I think she’ll be resigned to a back up 1/6 if we’re fair dinkum. Lauren is a Dam good squad player and I hope we retain at least one of Spreadborough or Werner to vie for that wing spot as they’re both pretty solid bodied.
