I missed a fair chunk of it, but I don't think there is too much to take out of it. PNG were totally outclassed.

Robbo played centre but her hands let her down a bit. Ali played the entire game at 7, Broughton came off at half time and Skyla Adams came on. Both Skyla and Gayle played well when I watched them.

Someone was put on report but I didn't see who or what the penalty was for. Can't find any match reports.

Scott Prince will stay on as Head Coach of the Broncos NRLW squad for another two-seasons, having signed a contract extension until the end of 2027.

20 year old 17 year old Jessie Southwell? For me, she's overrated for the media hype she gets.

Good kicking game but I'm not sure about her play making outside of that.
 
In an ideal world, if we lose Broughton I'd rather see Tarryn come back. How many years has Ali got left in her? Adams and Aitken could be our future halves.

I'm sure the Roosters will have her locked up long term though.
 
To add to the others’ points I agree with, plainly I just don’t see her as a Bronco, as silly as that may sound.

Also I don’t see a Southwell fitting in with our current playing group 👀

@Fozz Tarryn just finished extending to the end of 2027.

I thought she was a GC girl but she’s actually Gosford-born, so playing for the (Central Coast) Roosters and feeling at home makes a lot more sense to me now. I don’t see her leaving unless it’s for a bucket of cash but even then it may not be enough and if we want to keep Upton then we need that marquee level wage available.

Could be more dependent on what happens this year, but next year is the year for Skyla, although next year is a club option, so who knows what our halves situation could/will be
 
On the note of future signings, obviously a lot happen in the off-season because it’s so long in between, but players without a contract for 2026 are

There’s about 8-10 of our first 17.

I do expect 90% of them to re-sign however
 
Ali announced on NRLW on Fox that she’s signing on for 2026 but it will be her last season.
