Fairly expected team. Only questions were where Brown would play, but I assumed hooker as Gould can’t go forever and we needed to lock someone in . Otherwise she could’ve been in the backline.

Also if Ali would continue at lock and Ferguson would play 7 as she plays there with Aiken at Tweed. I’m sure it’ll happen through the game and become standard by the end, ready for the 2nd season

Our depth will be tested as that 18-24 except Gould haven’t played NRLW before. Most are BHP or Union converts

Turn over of players and finding players is the biggest hurdle to overcome for the NRLW- if the NRL didn't intervene and have systems in place no one would be fielding a team.

The fact they have to raid so many girls from other sports is testament to that.

The Broncos have four girls that have played all four seasons with them and 12 new players this year. 43 of their 91 game squad are Brigginshaw, Robinson, Gould and Lenarduzzi.

Breayley-Nati is on her third club and a year off in four seasons- because of work and family.

Pay has to be the final frontier to stop the bleeding out of players. I know they don't make a profit and don't in a business sense make enough money to earn 100k but they have to find some way- this year was the year because lots of girls are going to play 30 games. Surely it's not sustainable to keep finding 50% turn over every year.

we have a bunch of debutants and some positional changes. Run on team should be fine, defence will be the key as Roosters are very offence-oriented with Sergis and Kelly
